Richard finished his medical degree at WSU in 2013 before going on to complete internship and residency at St George and Sutherland Hospitals. After that he spent 3 years in Gundagai at both the Gundagai District Hospital and Gundagai Medical Centre where he honed his skills in all aspects of general practice as well as emergency and acute care medicine. He completed his Fellowship in the Royal Australian College of GP as well as Diploma of Child Health in early 2018.

Returning to Sydney in late 2019, Richard brings across vast experience in all aspects of medicine. His bedside manner focuses on relaxation, rapport and understanding. He loves the “G” in “General Practice” but is particularly interested in preventative care, men’s health and mental health. He is also accredited in providing focused psychological strategies for those in need of acute counselling and through both professional and personal experience has an affinity to neurodivergent patients.

In his spare time Richard likes to play video games on his overpowered computer, fall asleep listening to history podcasts and spend time with his wife and three daughters.
